Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to run your lessons, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

Account details: name, email, password (stored as a one-way hash), optional phone number.
Learner details: pickup postcode, car preference, optional provisional licence number and test date.
Instructor details: ADI number, profile, cars, areas, availability and prices.
Lessons, messages, reviews and notifications you create on grinways.

Who sees what

Your full pickup postcode and phone number are shared only with an instructor once a lesson is confirmed. Reviews show your first name and last initial. Instructors’ base postcodes and ADI numbers are never public.

We send postcodes to our postcode lookup provider to check they exist and find nearby instructors. We do not include your name, account details or street address in those requests.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].
